This is all to say that "play your way" is often a good thing but a lot of people don't have a "way they prefer to play" when starting a new game and a system-in-place puts clear emphasis on a specific way to play. It also says that an arena token really is just "additional training" and not "mandatory to succeed." Alternatively, if that system for gathering infinite experience doesn't exist at all, there's no mixed message regarding the preparedness of their army. Seeing an infinite-grinding system as a new player starts the game sends a message that they may or may not be prepared for the coming missions without looping through something inane and boring. I know it's what some people may want but, if a new player sees that system in place when they begin playing the game, it can damage their experience. ![]()
